Our Mission

PATCH - Potawatomi Advocates for Trees, Conservation and Heritage

At PATCH, our mission is to preserve and protect the natural beauty, ecological integrity, and public trust of Potawatomi State Park. We advocate for transparency, public involvement, and responsible stewardship of the park's natural resources.

PATCH was formed in response to concerns surrounding the removal of mature trees along South Norway Road and Shoreline Road. We contend that these actions occurred without adequate public notice or opportunity for public input and are committed to promoting greater transparency and accountability in decisions that affect our public lands.

Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we work to ensure that Potawatomi State Park remains a thriving natural resource for current and future generations.
